Briefly tell us about your stage and or dancing experience.*

Music features throughout the series and some original songs have been created to tell the story through the eyes of the characters. These songs feature on the soundtrack of the series at various points and will be available on the original series soundtrack album. To bring them to life we are auditioning for featured singers to perform at the press night and feature on the soundtrack. The top 3 for each role submitted will be invited to an person call back in Colchester with the producers.

We are currently holding auditions for performers for the following roles:

The Divas: Salonga, Minelli, Fitzgerald - Musical Theatre Belter, Comedy Cabaret and Jazzy Dexterity.

The Crooners: Sinatra, Enrique, Perry - Smooth Rat Pack, Latino Sass and 80's Hairy Rock Vocals.

The Rebels: Timberlad, Blurry, Marley - Dance RnB Soloist, Britpop Band Frontman, Reggae Party Vibes.

ENSEMBLE: As well as others who can sing supporting vocals, harmonies, strong advantage if you can dance too.

Some of the songs are full-on production numbers with dancers and actors on stage, which will involve rehearsals in Colchester, expenses paid, fully catered, full production costs covered. Individual contracts regarding publishing and licensing rights. Transparent management with successful outcomes and opportunities for all involved at the heart of the project. Flexible rehearsal time availability an advantage. These roles will suit self employed freelance actors and singers who can commit to recording sessions and rehearsals in Colchester.

Please do not apply from overseas unless you have your own budget to visit the UK, as talented as you are it's beyond our small budget capabilities. This project is a local community project involving a team of talented artists who work well together. Mutual respect and love of the craft of filmmaking, music making, show production is essential.
